Text 1.33.19

स राजा सौमदेयस्तु पुरीमध्यावसत्तदा।
काम्पिल्यां परया लक्ष्म्या देवराजो यथा दिवम्॥

sa rājā saumadeyas tu purīm adhyāvasat tadā
kāmpilyāṁ
parayā lakṣmyā deva-rājo yathā divam

saḥ rājā = that kṣatriya; saumadeyaḥ tu = the son of Somadā; purīm = in the city; adhyāvasat tadā = resided; kāmpilyām = Kāmpilyā; parayā lakṣmyā = with great prosperity; deva-rājaḥ yathā divam = just as the king of the devas resides in the heavens.

That kṣatriya, the son of Somadā, resided in the city Kāmpilyā with great prosperity just as the king of the devas resides in the heavens.

While King Kuśanābha was contemplating getting his daughters married, Brahmadatta was residing in the city.
