Chapter 33: Kuśanābha’s Daughters marry Brahmadatta
Text 1.33.24
स दृष्ट्वा वायुना मुक्ताः कुशनाभो महीपतिः।
बभूव परमप्रीतो हर्षं लेभे पुनः पुनः॥
sa dṛṣṭvā vāyunā muktāḥ kuśanābho mahī-patiḥ
babhūva parama-prīto harṣaṁ lebhe punaḥ punaḥ
saḥ = the; dṛṣṭvā = observing; vāyunā muktāḥ = his daughters free from the influence of Vāyu; kuśanābhaḥ = Kuśanābha; mahī-patiḥ = King; babhūva = became; parama-prītaḥ = extremely pleased; harṣam lebhe punaḥ punaḥ = and repeatedly attained delight.
Observing his daughters freed from the influence of Vāyu, King Kuśānabha became extremely pleased and repeatedly attained delight.
The king was greatly pleased upon obtaining a favorable bride-groom for his daughters. He repeatedly became delighted, for his daughters were freed from their bodily deformities.
