Text 1.33.26

somadāpi susantuṣṭā putrasya sadṛśīṁ kriyām
yathā-nyāyaṁ ca gandharvī snuṣās tāḥ pratyanandata
spṛṣṭvā spṛṣṭvā ca tāḥ kanyāḥ kuśanābhaṁ praśasya ca

somadā api = Somadā also; susantuṣṭā = became very satisfied; putrasya = her son’s; sadṛśīm kriyām = seeing marriage ceremony; yathā-nyāyam ca = according to scriptural regulations; gandharvīḥ = that gandharvi; snuṣāḥ tāḥ pratyanandata = welcomed them as her daughters-in-law; spṛṣṭvā spṛṣṭvā ca tāḥ kanyāḥ = touched each of those girls; kuśanābham praśasya ca = appreciated Kuśanābha.

Seeing her son’s marriage ceremony, Somadā became very satisfied. That gandharvī touched each of those girls according to scriptural regulations, appreciated Kuśānabha and welcomed them as her daughters-in-law.

Somadā was the mother of Cūlī’s (mental) son. Yathā-nyāyaṁ indicates that she sequentially accepted the daughters of Kuśānabha, one by one.
