Chapter 37: The History of Skanda

प्रादुर्भूतं ततः क्षीरं कृत्तिकानामनुत्तमम्।
षण्णां षदाननो भूत्वा जग्राह स्तनजं पयः॥
prādurbhūtaṁ tataḥ kṣīraṁ kṛttikānām anuttamam
ṣaṇṇāṁ ṣad-ānano bhūtvā jagrāha stanajaṁ payaḥ
prādurbhūtam = flowed; tataḥ = then; kṣīram = milk; kṛttikānām = from the breasts of Kṛttikās; anuttamam = excellent; ṣaṇṇām = six; ṣaṭ-ānanaḥ bhūtvā = manifesting six faces; jagrāha = the child drank; stanajam payaḥ = their breast milk [simultaneously].
Then, excellent milk flowed from the breasts of the six Kṛttikās. Manifesting six faces, the child drank their breast milk [simultaneously].
This is after he was bathed by the six Kṛttikās.
