Chapter 38: The History of Sagara
Text 1.38.11
तयोस्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा भृगुः परमधार्मिकः।
उवाच परमां वाणीं स्वच्छन्दोऽत्र विधीयताम्॥
tayos tad vacanaṁ śrutvā bhṛguḥ parama-dhārmikaḥ
uvāca paramāṁ vāṇīṁ svacchando ’tra vidhīyatām
tayoḥ = spoken by them; tat = those; vacanam = words; śrutvā = hearing; bhṛguḥ = Bhṛgu; parama-dhārmikaḥ = the greatly dhārmika; uvāca = spoke; paramām = these excellent; vāṇīm = words; svacchandaḥ atra vidhīyatām = please inform me of your desires.
Hearing those words spoken by them, the greatly dhārmika Bhṛgu spoke these excellent words: Please inform me of your desires.
