Chapter 38: The History of Sagara
Text 1.38.13
मुनेस् तु वचनं श्रुत्वा केशिनी रघुनन्दन।
पुत्रं वंशकरं राम जग्राह नृपसन्निधौ॥
munes tu vacanaṁ śrutvā keśinī raghu-nandana
putraṁ vaṁśakaraṁ rāma jagrāha nṛpa-sannidhau
muneḥ tu = of the sage; vacanam = the words; śrutvā = hearing; keśinī = Keśinī; raghu-nandana = O descendant of Raghu; putram = a son; vaṁśakaram = to continue the lineage; rāma = O Rāma; jagrāha = accepted [the benediction to have] nṛpa-sannidhau = in the presence of the king.
O descendant of Raghu, O Rāma, hearing the words of the sage, in the presence of the king, Keśinī accepted [the benediction to have] a son to continue the lineage.
