Chapter 39: Sagara’s Sons Search for the Sacrificial Horse
Text 1.39.23
ततो देवाः सगन्धर्वाः सासुराः सहपन्नगाः।
सम्भ्रान्तमनसः सर्वे पितामहमुपागमन्॥
tato devāḥ sagandharvāḥ sāsurāḥ saha-pannagāḥ
sambhrānta-manasaḥ sarve pitāmaham upāgaman
tataḥ = then; devāḥ = the devas; sagandharvāḥ = gandharvas; sa-asurāḥ = asuras; saha-pannagāḥ = and birds; sambhrānta-manasaḥ = their minds disturbed; sarve = all; pitāmaham = grandfather Brahmā; upāgaman = approached.
Then, all the devas, gandharvas, asuras and birds, their minds disturbed, approached Grandfather Brahmā.
