Chapter 39: Sagara’s Sons Search for the Sacrificial Horse

ह्रियमाणे तु काकुत्स्थ तस्मिन्नश्वे महात्मना।
उपाध्यायगणाः सर्वे यजमानमथाब्रुवन्॥
hriyamāṇe tu kākutstha tasminn aśve mahātmanā
upādhyāya-gaṇāḥ sarve yajamānam athābruvan
hriyamāṇe tu = was stolen; kākutstha = O descendant of Kakutstha; tasmin aśve = when the horse; mahā-ātmanā = greatly intelligent Indra; upādhyāya-gaṇāḥ sarve = all the sacrificial priests; yajamānam = to the sponsor (the king); atha abruvan = spoke as follows.
O descendant of Kakutstha, when the horse was stolen by the greatly intelligent Indra, all the sacrificial priests spoke as follows to the sponsor (the king).
