Chapter 4: Kuśa and Lava Meet Lord Rāmacandra
Text 1.4.24
यज्ञभाण्डमृषिः कश्चित्काष्ठभारं तथापरः।
औदम्बरीं बृसीमन्ये स्वस्ति केचित्तदावदत्॥
yajña-bhāṇḍam ṛṣiḥ kaścit kāṣṭha-bhāraṁ tathāparaḥ
audambarīṁ bṛsīm anye svasti kecit tadāvadat
yajña-bhāṇḍam = gave them a sacrificial vessel; ṛṣiḥ = sage; kaścit = a; kāṣṭha-bhāram = gave some sacrificial wood; tathā aparaḥ = another; audambarīm = gifted an Udumbara; bṛsīm = seat; anye = others; svasti = their blessings; kecit = some; tadā avadat = gave them.
A sage gave them a sacrificial vessel. Another gave some sacrificial wood. Others gifted an Udumbara seat. Some gave them their blessings.
