Chapter 40: Lord Kapila Punishes Sagara’s Sons
Text 1.40.2
यस्येयं वसुधा कृत्स्ना वासुदेवस्य धीमतः।
महिषी माधवस्यैषा स एष भगवान्प्रभुः॥
yasyeyaṁ vasudhā kṛtsnā vāsudevasya dhīmataḥ
mahiṣī mādhavasyaiṣā sa eṣa bhagavān prabhuḥ
yasya = His; iyam = of the; vasudhā = earth; kṛtsnā = entire; vāsudevasya = Vāsudeva; dhīmataḥ = the intelligent; mahiṣī = queen; mādhavasya = Lord Mādhava; eṣā = is the [presiding deity]; saḥ eṣaḥ bhagavān = is the Supreme Personality Godhead; prabhuḥ = and our master.
Lord Mādhava, the intelligent Vāsudeva is the Supreme Personality of Godhead and our master. His queen is the presiding deity of the entire earth.
