Chapter 41: Aṁśumān Searches for His Uncles and the Horse
Text 1.41.22
गच्छ चाश्वं महाभाग सङ्गृह्य पुरुषर्षभ।
यज्ञं पैतामहं वीर संवर्तयितुमर्हसि॥
gaccha cāśvaṁ mahā-bhāga saṅgṛhya puruṣa-rṣabha
yajñaṁ paitāmahaṁ vīra saṁvartayitum arhasi
gaccha ca = go; aśvam = this horse; mahā-bhāga = O greatly fortunate; saṅgṛhya = taking; puruṣa-ṛṣabha = best of men; yajñam = sacrifice; paitāmaham = your grandfathers; vīra = O hero; saṁvartayitum arhasi = you should complete.
O greatly fortunate best of men, taking this horse, go! O hero, you should complete your grandfather’s sacrifice.
