Chapter 41: Aṁśumān Searches for His Uncles and the Horse
Text 1.41.25
तच्छ्रुत्वा घोरसङ्काशं वाक्यं अंशुमतो नृपः।
यज्ञं निर्वर्तयामास यथाकल्पं यथाविधि॥
tac chrutvā ghora-saṅkāśaṁ vākyaṁ aṁśumato nṛpaḥ
yajñaṁ nirvartayām āsa yathā-kalpaṁ yathā-vidhi
tat = the; śrutvā = hearing; ghora-saṅkāśam = the terrible; vākyam = words; aṁśumataḥ = of Aṁśumān; nṛpaḥ = the king; yajñam = his sacrifice; nirvartayām āsa = concluded; yathā-kalpam = in line with scriptural regulations; yathā-vidhi = properly.
Hearing the terrible words of Aṁśumān, the king properly concluded his sacrifice in line with the scriptural regulations.
