Chapter 41: Aṁśumān Searches for His Uncles and the Horse

स खातं पितृभिर्मार्गमन्तर्भौमं महात्मभिः।
प्रापद्यत नरश्रेष्ठस्तेन राज्ञाभिचोदितः॥
sa khātaṁ pitṛbhir mārgam antar-bhaumaṁ mahātmabhiḥ
prāpadyata nara-śreṣṭhas tena rājñābhicoditaḥ
saḥ = the; khātam = created; pitṛbhiḥ = by his younger father; mārgam = the path; antaḥ-bhaumam = within the earth; mahā-ātmabhiḥ = with great endeavor; prāpadyata = eventually found; nara-śreṣṭhaḥ = best of men; tena rājñā = by King Sagara; abhicoditaḥ = sent.
Sent by King Sagara, the best of men Aṁśumān [eventually] found the path within the earth created by his younger fathers with great endeavor.
