Chapter 45: The Churning of the Milk Ocean
Text 1.45.11
अथ रामो महाप्राज्ञो विश्वामित्रं महामुनिम्।
पप्रच्छ प्राञ्जलिर्भूत्वा विशालामुत्तमां पुरीम्॥
atha rāmo mahā-prājño viśvāmitraṁ mahā-munim
papraccha prāñjalir bhūtvā viśālām uttamāṁ purīm
atha rāmaḥ = Rāma; mahā-prājñaḥ = the greatly intelligent; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; mahā-munim = the great sage; papraccha = asked; prāñjaliḥ bhūtvā = joined His palms together and; viśālām = Viśālā; uttamām = about the glory of the excellent; purīm =city.
The greatly intelligent Rāma joined His palms together and asked the great sage Viśvāmitra about the glory of the excellent city Viśālā.1
