Chapter 47: King Sumati Approaches Viśvāmitra
Text 1.47.19
इहाद्य रजनीं राम सुखं वत्स्यामहे वयम्।
श्वः प्रभाते नरश्रेष्ठ जनकं द्रष्टुमर्हसि॥
ihādya rajanīṁ rāma sukhaṁ vatsyāmahe vayam
śvaḥ prabhāte nara-śreṣṭha janakaṁ draṣṭum arhasi
iha = here; adya rajanīm = tonight; rāma = O Rāma; sukham = happily; vatsyāmahe vayam = we will stay; śvaḥ = tomorrow; prabhāte = early morning; nara-śreṣṭha = O best of men; janakam = Janaka; draṣṭum arhasi = you should go to see.
O Rāma, we will happily stay here tonight. O best of men, tomorrow early morning you should go to see Janaka.
