Chapter 48: Gautama Curses Ahalyā
Text 1.48.21
अथाब्रवीत्सुरश्रेष्ठं कृतार्थेनान्तरात्मना।
कृतार्थास्मि सुरश्रेष्ठ गच्छ शीघ्रमितः प्रभो॥
athābravīt sura-śreṣṭhaṁ kṛtārthenāntarātmanā
kṛtārthāsmi sura-śreṣṭha gaccha śīghram itaḥ prabho
atha abravīt = she spoke; sura-śreṣṭham = to the best of the demigods; kṛta-arthena = when she was fully satisfied; antar-ātmanā = in mind and body; kṛta-arthā asmi = I am satisfied; sura-śreṣṭha = O best of the devas; gaccha = leave; śīghram = quickly; itaḥ = this place; prabho = O master.
When she was fully satisfied in mind and body, she spoke to the best of demigods: O best of devas, I am satisfied. O master, quickly leave this place.
