एवमुक्त्वा महातेजा गौतमो दुष्टचारिणीम्।
इममाश्रममुत्सृज्य सिद्धचारणसेविते।
हिमवच्छिखरे रम्ये तपस्तेपे महातपाः॥
evam uktvā mahā-tejā gautamo duṣṭa-cāriṇīm
imam āśramam utsṛjya siddha-cāraṇa-sevite
himavac-chikhare ramye tapas tepe mahā-tapāḥ
evam uktvā = having said this; mahā-tejāḥ = of great prowess; gautamaḥ = Gautama; duṣṭa-cāriṇīm = the lady of evil deed; imam = and this; āśramam = āśrama; utsṛjya = left; siddha-cāraṇa-sevite = served by the siddhas and cāraṇas; himavat-śikhare = summit of the Himālayas; ramye = in the pleasant; tapaḥ tepe =[then] performed austerities; mahā-tapāḥ = that sage of great prowess.
Having said this, Gautama of great prowess, left the lady of evil deed and this āśrama. That sage of great prowess [then] performed austerities in the pleasant summit of the Himālayas served by the siddhas and cāraṇas.
