Chapter 48: Gautama Curses Ahalyā

भूषयन्ताविमं देशं चन्द्रसूर्याविवाम्बरम्।
परस्परस्य सदृशौ प्रमाणेङ्गितचेष्टितैः॥
bhūṣayantāv imaṁ deśaṁ candra-sūryāv ivāmbaram
parasparasya sadṛśau pramāṇeṅgita-ceṣṭitaiḥ
bhūṣayantau = ornamenting; imam deśam = this land; candra-sūryau iva ambaram = like the moon and the sun that ornament the sky; parasparasya sadṛśau = They resemble each other; pramāṇa-iṅgita-ceṣṭitaiḥ = in measurement, expressions and gestures.
Ornamenting this land like the moon and the sun that ornament the sky, They resemble each other in measurement, expressions and gestures.
Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa are compared to the moon and the sun because they emanate cold and heat. They ornament this land by Their prowess. Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa resemble each other in measurement, that is, Their height and other bodily measurements, expressions that reveal Their inner attitudes, and gestures such as those of walk, speech and look. They resemble each other because no one else can match either of Them.
