तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा यथावृत्तं न्यवेदयत्।
अयोध्याधिपतेः पुत्रौ राज्ञो दशरथस्य हि।
मम यज्ञासमाप्त्यर्थमागतौ रामलक्ष्मणौ॥
tasya tad vacanaṁ śrutvā yathāvṛttaṁ nyavedayat
ayodhyādhipateḥ putrau rājño daśarathasya hi
mama yajñā-samāptyartham āgatau rāma-lakṣmaṇau
tasya tad vacanam śrutvā = hearing his words; yathā-vṛttam nyavedayat = Viśvāmitra described all that had happened; ayodhyā-adhipateḥ putrau rājñaḥ daśarathasya hi = the two sons of King Daśaratha, the ruler of Ayodhyā; mama yajña-samāpti-artham = to complete my sacrifice; āgatau = have come; rāma-lakṣmaṇau = Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
Hearing his words, Viśvāmitra described all that had happened: Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, the two sons of King Daśaratha, the ruler of Ayodhyā, have come to complete my sacrifice.
