Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 49: Lord Rāmacandra Delivers Ahalyā
Text 1.49.22

साधु साध्विति देवास्तामहल्यां समपूजयन्।
तपोबलविशुद्धाङ्गीं गौतमस्य वशानुगाम्॥

sādhu sādhv iti devās tām ahalyāṁ samapūjayan
tapo-bala-viśuddhāṅgīṁ
gautamasya vaśānugām

sādhu sādhu = “well done! well done”; iti = by saying; devāḥ = the demigods; tām ahalyām = Ahalyā; samapūjayan = honored; tapaḥ-bala-viśuddha-aṅgīm = because her body had become fully pure by the strength of her austerities; gautamasya vasa-anugām = and because she had come under the control of Gautama.

The demigods honored Ahalyā by saying, “Well done! Well done!” because her body had become fully pure by the strength of her austerities and because she had come under the control of Gautama.

As soon as Gautama realized that Lord Rāma had arrived at his āśrama, he arrived there on the spot.
