Chapter 52: Śabalā, Vasiṣṭha’s Wish-fulfilling Cow

उपविष्टाय च तदा विश्वामित्राय धीमते।
यथान्यायं मुनिवरः फलमूलमुपाहरत्॥
upaviṣṭāya ca tadā viśvāmitrāya dhīmate
yathā-nyāyaṁ muni-varaḥ phala-mūlam upāharat
upaviṣṭāya ca = who sat down; tadā = then; viśvāmitrāya = Viśvāmitra; dhīmate = to the intelligent; yathā-nyāyam = properly; muni-varaḥ = the best of ascetics; phala-mūlam = fruits and roots; upāharat = gave.
The best of ascetics then properly gave fruits and roots to the intelligent Viśvāmitra who sat down.
