Chapter 59: Viśvāmitra Assures Triśaṅku
Text 1.59.16
तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा सर्वेषां मुनिपुङ्गवः।
क्रोधसंरक्तनयनः सरोषमिदमब्रवीत्॥
teṣāṁ tad vacanaṁ śrutvā sarveṣāṁ muni-puṅgavaḥ
krodha-saṁrakta-nayanaḥ saroṣam idam abravīt
teṣām tat vacanam śrutvā sarveṣām = hearing those words of all those sages; muni-puṅgavaḥ = that best of sages; krodha-saṁrakta-nayanaḥ = with eyes reddened in anger; saroṣam = in wrath; idam = the following words; abravīt = spoke.
Hearing those words of all those sages, that best of sages, with eyes reddened in anger, spoke the following words in wrath.
