Chapter 59: Viśvāmitra Assures Triśaṅku
Text 1.59.22
एतावदुक्त्वा वचनं विश्वामित्रो महातपाः।
विरराम महातेजा ऋषिमध्ये महामुनिः॥
etāvad uktvā vacanaṁ viśvāmitro mahā-tapāḥ
virarāma mahā-tejā ṛṣi-madhye mahā-muniḥ
etāvat uktvā = having uttered these; vacanam = words; viśvāmitraḥ = Viśvāmitra; mahā-tapāḥ = of great austerity; virarāma = stopped; mahā-tejāḥ = and great prowess; ṛṣi-madhye = in the assembly of sages; mahā-muniḥ = the great Muni.
Having uttered these words in the assembly of sages, the great Viśvāmitra Muni of great austerity and great prowess stopped.
