Canto 1 - Boyhood
Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 60: Triśaṅku Blessed
Text 1.60.26

सशरीरस्य भद्रं वस्त्रिशङ्कोरस्य भूपतेः।
आरोहणं प्रतिज्ञाय नानृतं कर्तुमुत्सहे॥

saśarīrasya bhadraṁ vas triśaṅkor asya bhū-pateḥ
ārohaṇaṁ
pratijñāya nānṛtaṁ kartum utsahe

sa-śarīrasya = in his own body; bhadram vaḥ = auspiciousness unto you; triśaṅkoḥ = Triśaṅku; asya = this; bhū-pateḥ = king; ārohaṇam = to ascend [to Svarga]; pratijñāya = having promised that I will cause; na anṛtam kartum utsahe = I don’t dare to render that promise false.

Auspiciousness unto you! Having promised that I will cause this King Triśaṅku to ascend [to Svarga] in his own body, I don’t dare to render that promise false.

“Auspiciousness unto you!” is Viśvāmitra’s courtesy in reply.
