Chapter 61: Śunaḥśepa Sold
Text 1.61.5
एतस्मिन्नेव काले तु अयोध्याधिपतिर्नृपः।
अम्बरीष इति ख्यातो यष्टुं समुपचक्रमे॥
etasminn eva kāle tu ayodhyādhipatir nṛpaḥ
ambarīṣa iti khyāto yaṣṭuṁ samupacakrame
etasmin eva kāle tu = it was at this time that; ayodhya-adhipatiḥ nṛpaḥ = the great king of Ayodhyā; ambarīṣaḥ iti khyātaḥ = famous as Ambarīṣa; yaṣṭum = to conduct a sacrifice; samupacakrame = prepared.
It was at this time that the great king of Ayodhyā famous as Ambarīṣa prepared to conduct a sacrifice.
