Chapter 63: Viśvāmitra Falls Prey to Lust

इत्युक्ता सा वरारोहा तत्र वासमथाकरोत्।
तपसो हि महाविघ्नो विश्वामित्रमुपागतः॥
ity uktā sā varārohā tatra vāsam athākarot
tapaso hi mahā-vighno viśvāmitram upāgataḥ
iti uktā = thus addressed; sā = that; varārohā = lady of beautiful hips; tatra = there; vāsam atha akarot = came to reside; tapasaḥ hi = to performing austerities; mahā-vighnaḥ = and a great obstacle; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; upāgataḥ = came upon.
Thus addressed, that lady of beautiful hips came to reside there and a great obstacle to performing austerities came upon Viśvāmitra.
