Chapter 64: Viśvāmitra Falls Prey to Anger
Text 1.64.12

सहस्राक्षस्य तत्कर्म विज्ञाय मुनिपुङ्गवः।
रम्भां क्रोधसमाविष्टः शशाप कुशिकात्मजः॥

sahasrākṣasya tat karma vijñāya muni-puṅgavaḥ
rambhāṁ
krodha-samāviṣṭaḥ śaśāpa kuśikātmajaḥ

sahasra-akṣasya = of the thousand-eyed Indra; tat karma vijñāya = understanding that this was the work; muni-puṅgavaḥ = the tiger among sages; rambhām = Rambhā; krodha-samāviṣṭaḥ = became overcome by anger and; śaśāpa = cursed; kuśika-atmajaḥ = Viśvāmitra.

Understanding that this was the work of the thousand-eyed Indra, Viśvāmitra, the tiger among sages, became overcome by anger and cursed Rambhā.
