Chapter 65: Viśvāmitra Becomes a Brahmarṣi

व्याकुलाश्च दिशः सर्वा न च किञ्चित् प्रकाशते।
सागराः क्षुभिताः सर्वे विशीर्यन्ते च पर्वताः॥
vyākulāś ca diśaḥ sarvā na ca kiñcit prakāśate
sāgarāḥ kṣubhitāḥ sarve viśīryante ca parvatāḥ
vyākulāḥ ca = would become troubled; diśaḥ = regions; sarvāḥ = in all directions; na ca kiñcit = nothing; prakāśate = would illuminate; sāgarāḥ = the oceans; kṣubhitāḥ = would become agitated; sarve = all; viśīryante = would scatter; ca = and; parvatāḥ = the mountains.
Regions in all directions would become troubled. Nothing would illuminate. All the oceans would become agitated and all the mountains would scatter.
