Chapter 67: Lord Rāma Breaks Lord Śiva’s bow
Text 1.67.7

तेषां नृपो वचः श्रुत्वा कृताञ्जलिरभाषत।
विश्वामित्रं महात्मानं तौ चोभौ रामलक्ष्मणौ॥

teṣāṁ nṛpo vacaḥ śrutvā kṛtāñjalir abhāṣata
viśvāmitraṁ
mahātmānaṁ tau cobhau rāma-lakṣmaṇau

teṣām = their; nṛpaḥ = the king; vacaḥ = words; śrutvā = hearing; kṛtāñjaliḥ = with his palms joined in supplication; abhāṣata = spoke the followin; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; mahā-ātmānam = to the great soul; tau ca ubhau = and the two brothers; rāma-lakṣmaṇau = Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.

Hearing their words, with his palms joined in supplication, the king spoke the following to the great soul Viśvāmitra and the two brothers Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa.
