Chapter 68: Daśaratha Delighted

मन्त्रिणस्तां नरेन्द्रस्य रात्रिं परमसत्कृताः।
ऊषुस्ते मुदिताः सर्वे गुणैः सर्वैः समन्विताः॥
mantriṇas tāṁ narendrasya rātriṁ parama-satkṛtāḥ
ūṣus te muditāḥ sarve guṇaiḥ sarvaiḥ samanvitāḥ
mantriṇaḥ = ministers; tām = that; nara-indrasya = King Janaka’s; rātrim = night [there]; parama-satkṛtāḥ = greatly honored; ūṣuḥ = stayed; te = of them; muditāḥ = were very happy [there]; sarve = all; guṇaiḥ = good qualities; sarvaiḥ = all; samanvitāḥ = endowed with.
Greatly honored, King Janaka’s ministers stayed that night [there]. Endowed with all good qualities, all of them were very happy [there].
All of Janaka’s ministers were [also] abundantly respectful [to their hosts].
