Chapter 72: Daśaratha’s Charity Before the Wedding
Text 1.72.18
युवामसङ्ख्येयगुणौ भ्रातरौ मिथिलेश्वरौ।
ऋषयो राजसङ्घाश्च भवद्भ्यामभिपूजिताः॥
yuvām asaṅkhyeya-guṇau bhrātarau mithileśvarau
ṛṣayo rāja-saṅghāś ca bhavadbhyām abhipūjitāḥ
yuvām = both of you; asaṅkhyeya-guṇau = have innumerable good qualities; bhrātarau = brothers; mithilā-iśvarau = the kings of Mithilā; ṛṣayaḥ = sages; rāja-saṅghāḥ ca = and hosts of kings; bhavadbhyām abhipūjitāḥ = have been worshipped by both of you.
Both of you brothers, the kings of Mithilā, have innumerable good qualities. Sages and hosts of kings have been worshipped by both of you.
