Chapter 74: The Arrival of Paraśurāma
Text 1.74.24

एवमुक्त्वार्घ्यमादाय भीमदर्शनम्।
ऋषयो राम रामेति वचो मधुरमब्रुवन्॥

evam uktvārghyam ādāya bhīma-darśanam
ṛṣayo
rāma rāmeti vaco madhuram abruvan

evam uktvā = having spoken [to each other]; arghyam ādāya = thus brought arghya [for worship]; bhīma-darśanam = to him of terrible appearance; ṛṣayaḥ = the sages; rāma rāma iti = O Rāma, O Rāma; vacaḥ = words; madhuram = the sweet; abruvan = and spoke.

Having spoken [to each other] thus, the sages brought arghya [for worship] and spoke the sweet words, “O Rāma, O Rāma,” to him of terrible appearance.
