Chapter 74: The Arrival of Paraśurāma

गवां शतसहस्राणि बहूनि मिथिलेश्वरः।
कम्बलानां च मुख्यानां क्षौमकोट्यम्बराणि च॥
gavāṁ śata-sahasrāṇi bahūni mithileśvaraḥ
kambalānāṁ ca mukhyānāṁ kṣauma-koṭy-ambarāṇi ca
gavām = of cows; śata-sahasrāṇi bahūni = many hundreds of thousands; mithilā-īśvaraḥ = the king of Mithilā [gave]; kambalānām = woollen blankets;1 ca = and; mukhyānām = excellent; kṣauma-koṭi-ambarāṇi = 100,000,000 silken clothes; ca = as well as.
The king of Mithilā [gave] many hundreds of thousands of cows and excellent woollen blankets as well as 100,000,000 silken clothes.

King Janaka gave hundreds of thousands of excellent carpets also. The clothes that he gave in charity were first-class.
