Chapter 75: The History of the Bows of Lord Śiva and Lord Viṣṇu

तदद्भुतमचिन्त्यं च भेदनं धनुषस्त्वया।
तच्छ्रुत्वाहमनुप्राप्तो धनुर्गृह्य परं शुभम्॥
tad adbhutam acintyaṁ ca bhedanaṁ dhanuṣas tvayā
tac chrutvāham anuprāpto dhanur gṛhya paraṁ śubham
tat adbhutam = is astonishing; acintyam ca = and inconceivable; bhedanam = breaking; dhanuṣaḥ = of that bow; tvayā = Your; tat śrutva= hearing about it; aham anuprāptaḥ = I have arrived; dhanuḥ = bow; gṛhya = bringing with me; param śubham = this greatly auspicious.
Your breaking of that bow is astonishing and inconceivable. Hearing about it, I have arrived, bringing with me this greatly auspicious bow.
