Canto 1 - Boyhood
Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 76: Lord Rāma Strings Lord Viṣṇu’s bow
Text 1.76.22

शरमप्रतिमं राम मोक्तुमर्हसि सुव्रत।
शरमोक्षे गमिष्येऽहं महेन्द्रं पर्वतोत्तमम्॥

śaram apratimaṁ rāma moktum arhasi suvrata
śara-mokṣe
gamiṣye ’haṁ mahendraṁ parvatottamam

śaram = arrow [now]; apratimam = Your unrivalled arrow; rāma = O Rāma; moktum arhasi = You should release; suvrata = of pious vows; śara-mokṣe = when You release that arrow; gamiṣye aham = I will go to; mahendram = Mahendra; parvata-uttamam = the best of mountains.

O Rāma of pious vows, You should release Your unrivalled arrow [now]. When You release that arrow, I will go to Mahendra, the best of mountains.

Paraśurāma wanted to point out that when he sees the arrow moving [to destroy] the worlds earned by him, he would go to the Mahendra Mountain.
