Chapter 77: The Newly-wed Couples Reach Ayodhyā
Text 1.77.3
जामदग्न्यो गतो रामः प्रयातु चतुरङ्गिणी।
अयोध्याभिमुखी सेना त्वया नाथेन पालिता॥
jāmadagnyo gato rāmaḥ prayātu catur-aṅgiṇī
ayodhyābhimukhī senā tvayā nāthena pālitā
jāmadagnyaḥ = the son of Jamadagni; gataḥ = has gone; rāmaḥ = [now that] Rāma; prayātu = let proceed; catuḥ-aṅgiṇī = the four divisions of; ayodhya-abhimukhī = towards Ayodhyā; senā = the army; tvayā = by you; nāthena = its master; pālitā = ruled over.
[Now that] Rāma, the son of Jamadagni, has gone, let the four divisions of the army ruled over by you, its master, proceed towards Ayodhyā.
