Chapter 77: The Newly-wed Couples Reach Ayodhyā

सन्दिशस्व महाराज सेनां त्वच्छासने स्थितान्।
शासनं काङ्क्षते सेना चातकालिर्जलं यथा॥
sandiśasva mahā-rāja senāṁ tvac-chāsane sthitān
śāsanaṁ kāṅkṣate senā cātakālir jalaṁ yathā
sandiśasva = order; mahā-rāja = Mahārāja; senām = the army; tvat-śāsane sthitān = under your command; śāsanam = for your orders; kāṅkṣate = hankers; senā = this army; cātakāliḥ = as the cātaka birds; jalam = hanker for water; yathā = just.
Mahārāja, order the army under your command. This army hankers for your orders just as the cātaka birds hanker for water.
