ततः साध्विति तद्वाक्यं ब्राह्मणाः प्रत्यपूजयन्।
वसिष्ट्ःप्रमुखाः सर्वे पार्थिवस्य मुखाच्च्युतम्।
ऊचुश्च परमप्रीताः सर्वे दशरथं वचः॥
tataḥ sādhv iti tad-vākyaṁ brāhmaṇāḥ pratyapūjayan
vasiṣṭḥa-pramukhāḥ sarve pārthivasya mukhāc cyutam
ūcuś ca parama-prītāḥ sarve daśarathaṁ vacaḥ
tataḥ sādhu iti = by saying, “good”; tat-vākyam = the words; brāhmaṇāḥ = the brāhmaṇas; pratyapūjayan = congratulated; vasiṣṭḥa-pramukhāḥ = headed by Vasiṣṭha; sarve = all of; pārthivasya = from the king’s; mukhāt = mouth; cyutam = that came; ūcuḥ = told; ca = and; parama-prītāḥ = with great happiness; sarve = all of them; daśaratham = Daśaratha; vacaḥ = as follows.
All of the brāhmaṇas headed by Vasiṣṭha congratulated the words from the king’s mouth by saying, “Good!” and with great happiness, they told Daśaratha as follows.
