स निश्चितां मतिं कृत्वा यष्टव्यमिति बुद्धिमान्।
मन्त्रिभिः सह धर्मात्मा सर्वैरेव कृतात्मभिः॥
ततोऽब्रवीदिदं राजा सुमन्त्रं मन्त्रिसत्तमम्।
शीघ्रमानय मे सर्वान्गुरूंस्तान्सपुरोहितान्॥
sa niścitāṁ matiṁ kṛtvā yaṣṭavyam iti buddhimān
mantribhiḥ saha dharmātmā sarvair eva kṛtātmabhiḥ
tato ’bravīd idaṁ rājā sumantraṁ mantri-sattamam
śīghram ānaya me sarvān gurūṁs tān sapurohitān
saḥ = that; niścitām matim kṛtvā = having concluded; yaṣṭavyam iti buddhimān = that he should perform that sacrifice; mantribhiḥ = his ministers; saha = with the help of; dharma-ātmā = of dhārmika nature; sarvaiḥ eva = all; kṛta-ātmabhiḥ = of good intellect; tataḥ abravīt idam = told; rājā = king; sumantram = Sumantra; mantri-sattamam = the best among his ministers; śīghram = quickly; ānaya = bring; me = my; sarvān = all of; gurūn tān = gurus; sapurohitān = and priests.
Having concluded with the help of all his ministers of good intellect that he should perform that sacrifice, that king of dhārmika nature told Sumantra, the best among his ministers, “Quickly bring all of my gurus and priests.”
