Canto 1 - Boyhood
Bāla-kāṇḍa
Chapter 9: Conversation Between Sumantra and Daśaratha
Text 1.9.16

वक्ष्यन्ति चिन्तयित्वा ते तस्योपायांश्च तत्क्षमान्।
आनेष्यामो वयं विप्रं न च दोषो भविष्यति॥

vakṣyanti cintayitvā te tasyopāyāṁś ca tat-kṣamān
āneṣyāmo vayaṁ vipraṁ na ca doṣo bhaviṣyati

vakṣyanti = will tell the king; cintayitvā = thinking; te = they; tasya = Ṛśyaśṛṅga; upāyān ca = of ways; tat-kṣamān = appropriate to bring; āneṣyāmaḥ = will bring; vayam = we; vipram = that brāhmaṇa; na ca = be no; doṣaḥ = problem; bhaviṣyati = there will.

Thinking of appropriate ways to bring Ṛśyaśṛṅga, they will tell the king, “We will bring that brāhmaṇa. There will be no problem.”

The sage Vibhaṇḍaka need not worry that there would be a problem in Ṛśyaśṛṅga’s adherence to brahmacarya. The ministers assured the king that they will bring him without compromising his vow of celibacy. Thus, the sage Vibhaṇḍaka would not pronounce a curse upon them. And thus, the drought will not remain any more.
