Chapter 4: Daśaratha’s Anxiety About Coronating Rāma
Text 2.4.22
ततः पुष्येऽभिषिञ्चस्व मनस्त्वरयतीव माम्।
श्वस्त्वाहमभिषेक्ष्यामि यौवराज्ये परन्तप॥
tataḥ puṣye ’bhiṣiñcasva manas tvarayatīva mām
śvas tvāham abhiṣekṣyāmi yauvarājye parantapa
tataḥ = so; puṣye = under the Puṣya nakṣatra; abhiṣiñcasva = please be coronated; manaḥ = my mind; tvarayati iva = hurries in this regard; mām = me; śvaḥ = tomorrow; tvā = You; aham = I; abhiṣekṣyāmi = will coronate; yauvarājye = as the crown prince; parantapa = O scorcher of enemies.
So, please be coronated under the Puṣya nakṣatra. My mind hurries me in this regard. O scorcher of enemies, I will coronate You tomorrow as the crown prince.
