Chapter 12: Kaikeyī Reaffirms her Demands
Text 2.12.35
पृथिव्यां सागरान्तायां यत्किञ्चिदधिगम्यते।
तत्सर्वं तव दास्यामि मा च त्वां मन्युराविशेत्॥
pṛthivyāṁ sāgarāntāyāṁ yat kiñcid adhigamyate
tat sarvaṁ tava dāsyāmi mā ca tvāṁ manyur āviśet
pṛthivyām = on earth; sāgara-antāyām = upto the seas; yat kiñcit = that; adhigamyate = can be attained; tat sarvam = everything; tava = you; dāsyāmi = I will give; mā ca = don’t; tvām manyuḥ āviśet = be angry [with Rāma].
I will give you everything that can be attained on earth upto the seas. Don’t be angry [with Rāma].
Daśaratha was willing to give Kaikeyī anything that can be attained on earth upto the seas, that is, that can be attained anywhere on earth.
