Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 13: Kaikeyī Rejects Daśaratha’s Sorrowful Plea
Text 2.13.3

त्वं कत्थसे महाराज सत्यवादी दृढव्रतः।
मम चेमं वरं कस्माद्विधारयितुमिच्छसि॥

tvaṁ katthase mahā-rāja satya-vādī dṛḍha-vrataḥ
mama cemaṁ varaṁ kasmād vidhārayitum icchasi

tvam = you; katthase = are flattering me [unnecessarily]; mahā-rāja = Mahārāja; satya-vādī = you are a speaker of truth; dṛḍha-vrataḥ = and firm in your vows; mama ca = of mine; imam = these; varam = boons; kasmāt = why; vidhārayitum = to put on hold; icchasi = do you want.

Mahārāja, you are flattering me [unnecessarily]. You are a speaker of truth and firm in your vows. Why do you want to put these boons of mine on hold?

Vidhārayitum icchasi also indicates that Kaikeyī wanted to ask Daśaratha, “Why do you want to take away these boons of mine?”
