Chapter 15: Daśaratha Personally Instructs Sumantra to Bring Rāma

चन्द्रमण्डलसङ्काशमातपत्रं च पाण्डुरम्।
सज्जं द्युतिकरं श्रीमदभिषेकपुरस्कृतम्॥
candra-maṇḍala-saṅkāśaṁ ātapatraṁ ca pāṇḍuram
sajjaṁ dyutikaraṁ śrīmad abhiṣeka-puraskṛtam
candra-maṇḍala-saṅkāśam = resembling the disc of the moon; ātapatram ca = umbrella; pāṇḍuram = white; sajjam = ornamented; dyutikaram = brilliant; śrīmat = a beautiful; abhiṣeka-puraskṛtam = [was placed] in front for the coronation ceremony.
A beautiful, brilliant, ornamented white umbrella resembling the disc of the moon [was placed] in front for the coronation ceremony.
