Chapter 18: Kaikeyī Informs Rāma About the two Boons
Text 2.18.11
कच्चिन्मया नापराद्धमज्ञानाद्येन मे पिता।
कुपितस्तन्ममाचक्ष्व त्वं चैवैनं प्रसादय॥
kaccin mayā nāparāddham ajñānād yena me pitā
kupitas tan mamācakṣva tvaṁ caivainaṁ prasādaya
kaccit = I hope; mayā = I have; na = not; aparāddham = committed an offense; ajñānāt = unknowingly; yena = because of which; me = My; pitā = father; kupitaḥ = is angry with Me; tat mama = Me; ācakṣva = tell; tvam1 ca eva = and; enam = him; prasādaya = make happy.
I hope I have not unknowingly committed an offense because of which My father is angry with me. Tell Me and make him happy!
