Chapter 18: Kaikeyī Informs Rāma About the two Boons
Text 2.18.14
कञ्चिन्न किञ्चिद्भ्रते कुमारे प्रियदर्शने।
शत्रुघ्ने वा महासत्वे मातॄणां वा ममाशुभम्॥
kaccin na kiñcid bharate kumāre priya-darśane
śatrughne vā mahā-sattve mātṝṇāṁ vā mamāśubham
kaccit = I hope that; na = no; kiñcit1 bharate = Bharata; kumāre = has been committed by your son; priya-darśane = of pleasing appearance; śatrughne = Śatrughna; vā = or; mahā-sattve = of great strength; mātṝṇām = My mothers; vā = or; mama = or Me; aśubham = offense.
I hope that no offense has been committed by your son Bharata of pleasing appearance or Śatrughna of great strength or My mothers or Me.
