Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 19: Rāma Promises to Leave for the Forest
Text 2.19.24

न नूनं मयि कैकेयि किञ्चिदाशंससे गुणम्।
यद्राजानमवोचस्त्वं ममेश्वरतरा सती॥

na nūnaṁ mama kaikeyi kiñcid āśaṁsase guṇam
yad rājānam avocas tvam mameśvaratarā satī

na = not; nūnam = certainly; mama = My; kaikeyi = Queen Kaikeyī; kiñcit = even slightly; āśaṁsase = you have understood; guṇam = nature; yat = because; rājānam = to the king [about this matter]; avocaḥ = have [unnecessarily] spoken; tvam = you; mama = over Me; īśvaratarā = a greater authority; satī = as.

Queen Kaikeyī, you have certainly not understood My nature even slightly because you, as a greater authority over Me, have [unnecessarily] spoken to the king [about this matter].

Kaikeyī did not understand Śrī Rāmacandra’s nature, that is, His straightforwardness, magnanimity and other attributes.
