Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 20: Kausalyā’s Lamentation
Text 2.20.15

सा क्षौमवसना हृष्टा नित्यं व्रतपरायणा।
अग्निं जुहोति स्म तदा मन्त्रवत्कृतमङ्गला॥

sā kṣauma-vasanā hṛṣṭā nityaṁ vrata-parāyaṇā
agniṁ juhoti sma tadā mantravat kṛta-maṅgalā

= she; kṣauma-vasanā = dressed in silk; hṛṣṭā = was delighted; nityam = always; vrata-parāyaṇā = absorbed in her vows; agnim = into the sacred fire; juhoti sma = she had brāhmaṇas offer oblations; tadā = at that time; mantravat = while uttering auspicious mantras; kṛta-maṅgalā = she was engaged in auspicious activities.

Dressed in silk, she was delighted, always absorbed in her vows. She was engaged in auspicious activities at that time. She had brāhmaṇas offer oblations into the sacred fire while uttering appropriate mantras.

Juhoti sma (literally “offered oblations”) here means “had others offer oblations.” Therefore the next verse will mention that [explicitly]. Kausalyā had brāhmaṇas offer oblations into the sacred fire.
