Chapter 20: Kausalyā’s Lamentation
Text 2.20.17
देवकार्यनिमित्तं च तत्रापश्यत्समुद्यतम्॥
deva-kārya-nimittaṁ ca tatrāpaśyat samudyatam
deva-kārya-nimittam = that all the ingredients for the Lord’s worship; ca = also; tatra = there; apaśyat = He noticed; samudyatam = had been prepared [for the worship].
He also noticed that all the ingredients for the Lord’s worship had been prepared [for the worship] there.
