Chapter 22: Rāma Instructs Lakṣmaṇa
Text 2.22.12
मम प्रव्राजनादद्य कृतकृत्या नृपात्मजा।
सुतं भरतमव्यग्रमभिषेचयिता ततः॥
mama pravrājanād adya kṛta-kṛtyā nṛpātmajā
sutaṁ bharatam avyagram abhiṣecayitā tataḥ
mama pravrājanāt = after I depart; adya = today; kṛta-kṛtyā = will become successful in her endeavors; nṛpa-ātmajā = the daughter of the King of Kekaya; sutam = her son; bharatam = Bharata; avyagram = peacefully; abhiṣecayitā = coronate; tataḥ = and then.
After I depart today, the daughter of the King of Kekaya will become successful in her endeavors and then peacefully coronate her son Bharata.
